Lipstick Mirrors
These versatile, elegant, Lipstick Mirrors, (so called because they resemble the shape of a lipstick) are available singly, by twos or by threes and are available in either Blackwood or Jarrah. These mirrors are contemporary, smart, and provide endless possibilities for your personal creativity. Note: These wooden lipstick mirrors are handcrafted, and as every piece of wood is unique no wood mirrors are exactly the same; the above dimensions and weight are approximate measurements only.

Photo Frames
Each frame is handcrafted using a variety of timbers which are listed on the back of the frame. The frames are available in either light mixed timbers or dark mixed timbers. The light combinations may include Jacaranda, Silky Oak, Sandpaper Fig, White Cedar and many others. The dark combinations may include Red Cedar, Rosewood, Rose Alder, Red Bean and many others. The design of the frame makes for easy dismantling but is strong and stable when in use.

Wall Clock
Contemporary lines define the look of this Jarrah and Ash wall clock. The matt-black hands for seconds, minutes and hours sit clearly on the Silver Ash clock face with the contrasting Jarrah frame in a rounded-off square shape adding an interesting design feature. The hours are represented by fine lines cut into the clock face, the whole look being clean and contemporary yet losing none of the natural warmth that wood brings to a room.

Pair of Banksia Nut Tea Light Candle Holders
Hand turned from the seedpod of the Banksia Grandis tree of Western Australia, these T-Lite candle holders displays the wonderful texture and patterning achieved when the banksia nuts are turned on a lathe and the rough outside removed. When lit they emit a pretty dappled light and a soft glow. They come boxed with accompanying information, a picture of the Banksia Nut and instructions for use.
About Australian Woodwork
We have always liked travelling and exploring this wide brown land of ours, stopping in little towns, sampling the local produce, looking through local galleries, visiting the big regional markets. These wanderings resulted in the delightful discovery of a wide culture of skilled woodworking that existed in Australia which prompted us 16 years ago, to open a stall in Sydney's Rocks Market with the idea that lots of other people would appreciate it too. We have since gone on to open our flagship Darling Harbour store, now closed after 13 years, our purpose built Hunter Valley Gallery and of course, our online shop.
The genesis of our online shop originated with the next generation, our son, who we happily acknowledge dragged us, with only a little screaming and kicking, into the 21st century. But we remain a small family business with all the benefits that implies.
We have an intimate knowledge of our product range and your phone or email inquiries will be personally answered by one of the family team.
We have a broad range of products, all made using traditional techniques but with modern technology, good contemporary design and utilising our wonderful native timbers, among the best in the world. We make every effort to ensure that the timber used in our products is sourced from sustainable forestry practices and our extended family of craftsmen all want to see our native forests looked after, being like us, admirers of the natural world.
